SOME USEFUL INFORMATION
We have a lot of questions
Excellent! Please check our our most frequently asked questions below. If you need any other help just send us an email or give us a call. We’re happy to help!
How do we get to know each other?
We always meet up with our couples in one way our another, either via a classic swedish fika or via skype. The Me and You shoot is also an excellent opportunity to get to know you. We want to know what makes you laugh, cry and what you love about each other. We want to know You!
It’s also very important for us that you feel comfortable around us. After all, we are going to be spending a very important day together.
What is an engagement shoot and what can we expect?
A You and me shoot is a great opportunity for you to warm up in front of the camera. Put on your most elegant clothes or bring several sets. You will get around 50-100 pictures from the You and me shoot and perhaps they’ll make a perfect invitation card or you might just want to hang them on our wall at home.
When it comes to selecting the location for the shoot we love to go to places which means a lot to you. So let us know your favourite place or perhaps your dream place.
When do we shoot the wedding portraits?
To make sure that you get the best possible portraits then you should consider this: book plenty of time for your portrait session, preferably at least 1 hour. This will give us time to move to a few different locations. It will also give the two of you some time to yourselves during a rather lovefilled but hectic day.
For your private portraits we recommend that you schedule 45 mins during the day and then 15 mins during the evening when the sun sets. If you want to get those sweet and warm pictures then a sunset or a sunrise is key.
How do we choose a location for the portrait shoot?
You don’t have to worry about that at all. We’ll take care of all the location scouting well in time before the wedding. Just let us know what kind of wedding you’re looking for and tell us a little bit about yourselves and we’ll take it from there!
What's important with the prep/getting ready?
Try to choose a location for your preparation which is light and airy. Lots of windows is an advantage but also remember that if you have a large wedding ensemble then you need plenty of room to make sure it doesn’t get too crowded.
How do you work during the reception/dinner?
Normally there are a few things that happens during a reception. People will mingle a lot and we will of course document this so that you can remember it. We try to keep a very low key profile during the wedding and especially during the reception.
When it comes to film and speeches we’ll coordinate this with your toastmaster. You just have to give us the name and number to that person and we’ll make sure to coordinate sound etc with him/her.
When it comes to the sun set shoot it’s a good idea to plan a short break during the dinner. We’ll also coordinate this with your toastmaster.
Do you eat and take breaks?
Yes we do, so now and then we will sneak off for a quick breather. Also, when you eat we also try to eat at the same time. That brings us to an important point, don’t forget to eat lunch!
If you book a larger package, it would be very appreciated if you could ask the kitchen to prepare something simple for us during the reception. If not possible, please let us know and we’ll sort it out.
Do you want to be seated?
Since we will be running up and down during the dinner, we will not be the best dinner company! Therefore, we’d rather be allowed to have a corner/room close by to the dining room. A place for us to keep our equipment and eat our food.
